Not my idea, I heard it on the radio the other day, but it got me thinking.
If you were murdered which TV detective would you want to work on the case?
I'd choose Columbo, for so many reasons.
Who would you choose?

Bit tough to order a Tec once you've been done in, I would've thought!
Mr Jones, not if you leave instructions on a blog or something similar!
I know who I wouldn't put on it - Jacques Clouseau of The Pink Panther
:)
Would never go for Sherlock Holmes. He'd probably figure out all my scandals and tell it to poor old Watson.
I'd go for a more humane detective like Detective Charlie Crews from NBC's life.
Columbo would be a good choice. But to go for someone from the 21st century, I think I would pick Det. Robert Goran from Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Duh. I'd totally pick Poirot.
Monk would be my choice . atleast he would not mess up the place..

Sum cop in Lanka. lol. The cops over here in Australia muggle - up everythin. Don't want to hav Americans examining my body.... So, Lankan cop.
lol
I would go for Chief Inspector Morse, not that any of the above would bungle the investigation, but purely because he would quote poetry and drink lots of ale in the process…
