I was reading DD's so this is Christmas post and couldn't believe one of his statements. He says, and I quote, hence the quotation marks
"Started on two books but never finished them. Something I hope I will do in this lifetime."
How bad is that?
I don't know about you but I must have read about about twenty books this year, some I can't even remember.
DD couldn't even finish one.
My God!

Classic, RD, just classic.
I also love that the worst insult you could come up with was "big wimpy thing".
hmph and pah right back at you!
Started writing two books which I hope to finish this lifetime. My bad and yes you gots me!
PS: I have been called 'a big girls blouse' but a 'big wimpy thing' is totally a new one!
Wow. (not at RD but at Viceunversa).
I've definitely read more than ten that wasn't related to school at all and I go to college and work.
I feel like you need to impart your worldly wisdom RD, and keep him from traveling down this book-less path. It doesn't seem right. Of course I'm also (kind of a big time) book worm so maybe my opinion's biased?
Gypsy - it wasn't the worst but I felt that it made my point without destroying DD's inner contentment and confidence.
Jane - I know, he needs to learn these things for sure.
